About the job:

We're looking for a Head of Partnerships to join our new team covering nationwide and international sales, however our head office is in Leeds. You will be acting as part of our Sales function. Pushing the sale and/or rental of our innovative concept Boxbar Technology.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for sourcing, growing and maintaining key strategic partnerships vital to the growth of the business. These partnerships include but are not limited to retail technology vendors, epos providers, ticketing & events companies, breweries and any other business where a mutually beneficial commercial venture can be formed. Our sales are growing at a rapid pace and strong partnerships are needed to keep us ahead of the curve.

This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, your mission will be to grow new and build on existing partnerships ensuring that there is an increase in sales and profitability year on year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define key partnership opportunities
  • Create a partner program
  • Drive new partnerships within key markets and industry sectors.
  • Manage the successful implementation of partners within our offering
  • Developing new ideas and tailored partnership solutions.
  • Producing detailed proposal presentations for clients with a positive ROI.
  • Continually assess the performance of existing partnerships, identifying areas for improvement, and implement change.
  • Arranging & attending meetings with senior prospects, making C-Level presentations, drafting proposals and contract documents and consistent networking within the industry.
  • Negotiate deals and close contract sales on a timely basis.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with client and partners
  • Maintain knowledge of the self-serve ecosystem with regards to products and service providers
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure partnerships are integrated into the company's overall business strategy
  • Attending networking events and any relevant conferences.
  • On-site operational support from time-to-time period, including direct liaison with clients and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Experience within Partnerships/Business development in the tech, live music, festivals, events, travel, leisure, hospitality, sports or tourism industry.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales, partnerships or commercial development
  • Exceptional numerate and communication skills, a confident telephone manner with experience in face-to-face meetings
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the full sales cycle including lead generating, negotiations skills and closing
  • Excellent understanding of technology solutions
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage projects, focus on achieving objectives, adjust priorities, manage time and follow up on actions
  • Show an ability to work autonomously and be able to take responsibility beyond scope of role
  • Actively look for new solutions and create new ideas regarding the on-going commercial development.
  • Be aware of and take responsibility for implications of decisions
  • Have the ability to cope in a high-pressure environment
